About coffinhandle

Fifteen years of casting, polishing and plating coffin hardware

We make the parts that people touch at the most difficult moment of their lives. That is why we over-engineer them.

How we started

In 2010 the workshop had four die-casting machines, six polishers and one customer: a coffin maker two streets away in Xiaolan. We made handles to his drawings, delivered them on a motorbike, and learned what a funeral director actually needs — a handle that does not rattle, does not tarnish in a humid chapel, and arrives when it is promised.

Today the same site holds 12,000 m² of casting, tumbling, polishing, electroplating and assembly, with 120 staff and a monthly capacity of 300,000 pieces. Roughly 70% of what we make leaves China under someone else's brand.

What has not changed: every new model is still signed off by hand, against a physical master sample, before it is allowed onto a container.

What we hold ourselves to

  • 01

    Consistency over novelty

A handle that matches last year's order is worth more to a distributor than a new shape. We keep master samples for a decade.

  • 02

    Test before we promise

Load testing, salt spray and QUV ageing run on every new finish before it reaches a quotation.

  • 03

    One floor, one system

Casting, plating and assembly under a single ISO 9001 quality system means one party is accountable when something is wrong.

  • 04

    Small orders respected

A 200-piece order gets the same specification sheet and photo report as a 200,000-piece one.

The factory

A hardware factory, not a trading company

We started in 2010 as a die-casting workshop supplying local coffin makers. Fifteen years later the same family runs 12,000 m² of casting, polishing, plating and assembly in Zhongshan — and still signs off every new handle model by hand before it ships.

  • In-house die-casting, tumbling, polishing and electroplating
  • Dedicated sampling workshop for OEM drawings and new moulds
  • AQL 2.5 inspection with a photo report before every dispatch
  • English, Spanish and Chinese-speaking export team
